Mission

Our mission is to serve the Chinese-American, immigrant and low-income communities in New York City by providing services, skills and resources towards economic self-sufficiency.

Activities

CPC after-school services at the High School for Dual Language and Asian Studies provide academic, cultural, and recreational programming for youth participants.

Academic programming includes:
- Individualized Homework Help/Tutoring
- ESL Enrichment
- SAT and Regents Prep
- College Trips
- Computer Literacy

Recreational, cultural and other activities include:
- Taekwondo
- Various clubs: Lion Dance, Ping Pong, Scrap-booking, Robotics, K-Pop Dance, African Drumming, Intramural basketball
- Holiday Parties, Camping Retreats, Movie Screenings, Talent Show
- Volunteer and Community Service Projects
- Youth Internships

Eligibility

For Chinese-American Youth, Chinese Immigrant Youth, And Other Young People. For High School Students Attending The School Where The Program Takes Place.
