To provide the housing and supportive services necessary to help the homeless and others in need to become and remain self-reliant.
Youngsters between the ages of 6 to 18 benefit from a comprehensive afterschool program that encompasses a full range of services designed to boost their development.
Upon arrival, they are greeted and provided with a healthy snack and interactive games and activities where children get to unwind while staff engage the youngsters to chat about their day or what’s on their minds.
That is immediately followed by Power Hour, a comprehensive homework help and tutoring program for all members. Power Hour provides members with the support, resources and guidance necessary to complete their homework and become self-directed learners. This allows them to start the following school day with a sense of confidence and ability.
Youngsters are then fed a warm meal and engaged in programs that will stimulate their interests including Computer Lab, Arts & Crafts, Cooking, Dance, Physical Education, Creative Writing, Computer Games, Reading and more.
