Mission
ENACT’s unique method of interactive theater and drama therapy engages vulnerable youth to help them recognize and overcome obstacles standing in the way of success.
Activities
In the schools, ENACT residencies target student behavior with a focus on attendance and classroom climate improvement.
ENACT meets with school administrators and teachers to get a sense of the whole school climate and gain an understanding of what is going on in individual classrooms. Using the information collected during this assessment, the ENACT curriculum is adapted and programs are tailored to meet the specific needs of the school.
Residencies may last from 8 to 30 weeks, serving up to 30 students per period.
ENACT also works in non-academic settings where our focus is on changing behavior so that young people can improve their interpersonal relationships , meet challenges honestly and with integrity, recognize the roles they play in the stories of their lives and work through the obstacles that are standing in the way of success.
