Mission
Urban Word NYC champions the voices of New York City youth
by providing platforms for critical literacy, youth development
and leadership through free and uncensored writing, college
preparation and performance opportunities.
Activities
This award-winning producer, Chris Belmont will help you step your pen and melody game up in preparation to record music in our new studio. Workshops will alternate weekly between “Pre-Production Sessions” to write & get your musical work ready and “Production Sessions” where you will get to record your music creation. Hip-Hop, R&B, Pop, Spoken Word, all genres welcome!
