Mission

Groundswell brings together artists, youth, and community organizations to use art as a tool for social change.

Activities

Groundswell's Portfolio Development Fall Program is an opportunity for students from underrepresented backgrounds to create dynamic artwork for college admission and scholarships by learning fundamental studio skills, and exploring their personal voice as artists. They'll also have an opportunity to go on college visits, meet with college representatives, go on field trips, document/edit their work, and meet artists and designers. All supplies & snacks provided!

Eligibility

You Must Be Between The Ages Of 16-19, Or In 11th/12th Grade. You Must Be Able To Commit To Every Monday From 4-7pm From October 23rd To December 15th You Must Be Ready To Commit To An Intensive Program With Extra Work Outside Of Class You Must Be Interested In Applying To Art Colleges And Pursuing A Career As An Artist
