Mission

Our mission is to serve the Chinese-American, immigrant and low-income communities in New York City by providing services, skills and resources towards economic self-sufficiency.

Activities

The Project Gateway College Counseling Center in Chinatown helps students achieve their higher education goals by providing free individual college counseling, college trips, education and early college awareness workshops essential to a successful college admissions process. Students who come to Project Gateway may range from recent immigrants who speak very little English to second generation students attending well-known high schools. The connection that brings them to CPC’s Project Gateway is the culturally sensitive, relevant and community-based design of the program coupled with high level college prep activities, courses and counseling.
