Mission

We are a non-profit youth sports organization that provides Brooklyn children from kindergarten through high school with the opportunity to develop leadership abilities, team skills, and personal discipline.

Activities

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Last year we had over 700 players and we reached capacity before the season started, so please take advantage of this notice and secure a spot.

In our co-ed and girls-only recreational divisions, we try to balance competition by evaluating all players in anticipation of a draft by the coaches. This is recreational basketball, so the focus is on learning and having fun, not the win-loss record. The rules require that all players get at least two-quarters of playing time. But we do end the season with a tournament and a day of championship games for each division.

All players MUST be evaluated to be placed on a team. The evaluations will take place October 27 through October 29, specific days and times for each division will be announced in October. The evaluation is MANDATORY. Players who are not evaluated can be moved to another team. Once teams are finalized, you will receive an email from the coach sometime in mid-November.

All teams are coached by volunteer parents. We always need coaches. Please update your volunteer preferences while you register. New coaches will be placed with experienced ones whenever possible.
