Mission

We empower young men with the skills, networks, and mindsets they need to create new futures through technology. We work towards building a world where every young man has the confidence to dare greatly, the safety to celebrate failure, and the freedom to tell his story.

Activities

We prepare young Black and Latino men for tech careers by providing mentorship, industry exposure, and training in Computer Science (CS). Unlike most coding programs that focus solely on CS skills, we teach students interpersonal skills in a tech startup context.

Our flagship program, the Summer Intensive, is a 6-week program where rising juniors and seniors receive hands-on, project-based instruction in computing concepts, programming fundamentals, app development, robotics, web development, and design. Students enrolled in the program receive the equivalent of one semester of college-level computer science, visit innovative tech companies such as Dropbox, Yelp!, and YouTube, and hear from tech speakers about their education and career paths.
