Activities

During this weeklong tech start-up boot camp you will pitch your ideas, form a development team and rapidly build your prototype. This is an opportunity to learn some of the components of the Lean Start-up method and pick up some useful skills. No prior business or computer programming skills required. All participants must come with a tech business idea. A formal business plan is not required, however be prepared to do a pitch on Day 1. All participants will be required to computer programming.

Topics covered include: Front-end & Back-end Fundamentals, Building Your Founding Team, Legal Considerations when Forming a New Venture and Validating the Business Model.

Skills acquired are: Wireframing / Design Based thinking, Validating Your Idea, Ruby on Rails Coding, Financing Your Tech Venture and Customer Acquisition. Participants will also gain access to industry executives through Daily guest speakers including Tech Founders and Venture Capitalist
