At New York University, we believe that journalism has a serious public mission, and can make a difference in the world. We want to educate those who agree.

Activities

The Urban Journalism Workshop at New York University is designed to develop the next generation of great journalists. A diverse group of twenty high school juniors and seniors from the New York City metropolitan area (including New Jersey, Connecticut and Westchester) will come together to spend 10 days attending an intensive and rewarding journalism “boot-camp” held at the Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute at New York University.
