Our mission is to empower children and their families to become full, productive participants in society through education, cultural enrichment, and social services.

Activities

The Conservatory combines classical arts training with the vital cultural roots of Harlem to create a rich curriculum and a powerful training experience. The Conservatory is an integral component of the Harbor’s education philosophy, integrating the performing arts into all Harbor programs as part of a commitment to provide exposure to the arts to every Harbor student. Performing arts classes focus on: classical music, latin music, jazz music, Colombian music, dance programs (ballet, modern dance, jazz, basic tap, hip-hop, Latin dance, Afro-Caribbean dance, West African Dance and Drumming classes), and theater arts.
