Mission

Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation, the nation's first community development organization, partners with area residents and businesses to improve the quality of life in long-blighted areas of Central Brooklyn.

Activities

A cornerstone of The Center for Arts & Culture at Bed-Stuy Restoration, the Youth Arts Academy provides multidiscplinary arts instruction in dance, music and drama for children between the ages of 3 and 18 years old. Instruction takes place after school and on Saturdays from October 2015 through June 2016, as well as through a summer intensive in July and August 2016.
